India allows Pakistan PM Imran Khan to use its airspace enroute Sri Lanka

Deccan Herald
Sagar Kulkarni,

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday flew over Indian airspace enroute Colombo for his maiden visit to Sri Lanka.

India had granted permission to Pakistan to use its airspace for Khan's aircraft for his visit to Sri Lanka.

A Pakistan Air Force aircraft, with Khan on board, flew over the Arabian Sea skirting India's air defence identification zone.

The Gulfstream aircraft was in Indian airspace as it flew over the Lakshadweep Islands.

In 2019, Pakistan has denied permission to India to use its airspace for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the US and Saudi Arabia.
