An 80-year-old man in Maharashtra's Nalasopara town had to be taken to a hospital as he complained of high blood pressure after receiving an electricity bill worth nearly Rs 80 crore.
It was later found that the amount mentioned in the bill was the result of a clerical error.
On Monday, 80-year-old Ganpat Naik, who runs a rice mill in Nirmal village of Nalasopara town, got the shock of his life when he received a power bill amounting to Rs 80 crore. He is a heart patient and his blood pressure rose seeing the bill. Later, he had to be taken to a hospital for medical check-up.
