Delhi: Goons set bikes on fire in Narela, captured booing at authorities

India Today

A notorious gang on Tuesday night set fire to a bike parked in Narela colony on outer Delhi and fled away. Eventually, other bikes in the line caught fire causing heavy damage.

A CCTV footage capturing the incident showed a man allegedly booing the authorities with hand gestures while looking at the camera.

Four goons were seen entering the B2 sector of Narela colony with their faces covered. After loitering around for some time, they doused the bike with petrol and set it on fire. After the incident, the four accused fled from the spot.

The residents of the colony fear that if action is not taken against the miscreants, then one day they might burn their houses.

This is not the only incident which has caused terror among the residents of the colony.

Last month, on September 8, a 44-year-old BSP candidate, Virender Mann, was shot dead in outer Delhi's Narela area as a result of a gang-war. He was shot at from a distance of 200 meters and 26 bullets were pumped into his body around 11 am.
