The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth Rs 4.87 crore belonging to Kalpesh Daftary, director of Sunkkalp Creation Private Limited, and others who have been accused of selling agriculture and village industry schemes to Reliance. The attached assets include a commercial premise in Mumbai and four in Rajkot.
According to ED, Kalpesh Daftary, along with Niyaz Ahmed, Piyush Viramgama, Vijay Gadhiya, and others, forged 13 Vishesh Krishi and Gram Udyog Yojana Licences (VKGUY) and fraudulently sold them to Reliance Industries Limited under the invoices of Hindustan Continental Limited.
