Have 15 years of experience, revoke my suspension and let me serve COVID-19 patients: Kafeel Khan to UP govt
New Delhi: Dr Kafeel Khan, who was suspended from BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur by the Uttar Pradesh government in 2017, has written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, requesting reinstatement so that he can serve COVID-19 patients.
In a letter dated 17 April to the UP CM, Khan said that the second wave of the coronavirus is causing havoc.
"My experience of more than 15 years in the ICU may be helpful in saving some lives. I humbly request that you give me the opportunity to serve the country in this COVID-19 epidemic," said Khan in a tweet.
