Tai Chi can treat chronic low back pain in older adults
Practicing Tai Chi at a young age can protect you from developing chronic low back pain in adulthood, a new study suggests.
Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training, its health benefits and meditation.
The study, published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine (JACM) evaluated the feasibility and acceptability of using T'ai Chi to improve chronic low back pain in adults over 65 years of age compared to health education and usual care.
