New Delhi: The Central government on Sunday told the States and Union Territories to allow the transportation of both essential as well as non-essential goods during the 21-day nationwide lockdown, which is scheduled to be removed on April 14 midnight. Collection and distribution of milk, groceries including hygiene products, and newspapers will be allowed to be transported after the new order.

In a letter to the states and UTs, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla stated, "Entire supply chain of milk collection and distribution, including its packaging material is allowed.
