SPB's funeral: SP Balasubrahmanyam's family to seek permission for public homage at Chennai home
Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam's family are trying to seek permission from the officials for public homage at his Chennai residence. SPB, who breathed his last today (September 25) due to lung failure, will be laid to rest at his farm house in Tamaraipakkam, a place located in the outskirts of Chennai. His body likely to be taken from the hospital at 4pm.
SP Balasubrahmanyam's son SP Charan, wife Savitri, sister Shailaja and daughter Pallavi have been in the hospital since morning. While Kamal Haasan visited SPB at the hospital yesterday, Bharathiraja visted him this morning. Police officials have barricade the area as fans are turning out in large numbers.
