Sushant Singh Rajput case: Bombay High Court to deliver order on PILs against media trial today

New Delhi: The Bombay High Court on Monday is expected to pronounce its order on pleas filed against media trial in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. A bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice GS Kulkarni will be delivering its verdict.

The pleas have called for an order that would restrict media reportage that could hamper the investigation in the sensational case.

One of the plea, has also been filed against the "unfair, malicious and false media campaign" against Mumbai Police.

As per Bar and Bench, a plea has also asked the court to frame guidelines to regulate the media without curtailing the freedom of the press.
