Unable to bear work-from-home stress, Gujarat engineer kills self

A 32-year-old engineer in Gujarat has killed himself by hanging himself at his residence after being unable to cope with stress induced by the work-from-home routine.

According to a report in The Times of India, the electrical engineer was found hanging at his residence in Surat of Gujarat on Tuesday.

The man has been identified as Jigar Gandhi, an engineer employed with a Noida-based firm. He has been working with the company for the past three years.

The man had recently returned home in the lockdown and was working from home for the past couple of months.
