Beyond headlines: World's leading vaccine makers on rollout

Top executives of some of the world's leading vaccine-making companies are of the opinion that despite the historic speed of trials and extremely positive early results of the COVID vaccines, the rollout process could appear a lot slower and even frustrating for the general population. Officials from Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer have suggested that due to production and logistical challenges and the sheer number of people requiring the shots, some form of intervention such as physical distancing, hand hygiene and face-masks would still be needed for months, if not years.
