No time to rest! India's battle against COVID-19 strengthened by over 30,000 doctors
New Delhi: As the country reeling under the coronavirus outbreak, more than 30,000 retired doctors have volunteered to help the government fight COVID-19 in the wake of rising cases in the country.
According to a senior government official,30,100 doctors, including retired government, Armed Forces Medical Service and private physicians have come forward to help the country deal with the pandemic.
"30,100 volunteer doctors, including retired government, Armed Forces Medical Services, public sector undertaking or private doctors have signed up to the government to battle COVID-19 pandemic," news agency PTI quoted the official as saying.
