Nikki Haley casts doubt on China's official coronavirus figures; terms it 'not accurate'
Chinese figure of 82,000 COVID-19 cases 'not accurate': Nikki Haley
Indian-American politician Nikki Haley has termed China's official coronavirus figures as "clearly not accurate" and has cast doubt on the accuracy the country has shared. The development comes amid reports that the CIA has advised the White House not to trust the data being provided by Beijing. Earlier on Wednesday, US President Donald Trump had also said he did not believe the figures that China gave, regarding COVID-19. "Their numbers seem to be a little bit on the light side," Trump said at a press conference.
