Ashish Tripathi,
A Delhi court on Tuesday granted bail to climate activist Disha Ravi, arrested from Bengaluru on February 13, in a Google toolkit document case, saying there was not enough material to keep the 22-year-old in custody.
Additional Sessions Judge Dharmender Rana, who reserved the order on Saturday, set Disha free on bail on the condition of her furnishing two sureties of Rs 1 lakh each. The court also ordered her to cooperate with the investigation into the FIR and not to leave the country.
The Delhi Police launched the probe after Swedish activist Greta Thunberg accidentally tweeted the toolkit, showing a plan to create an international storm on social media in support of farmers who were protesting demand repeal of three farm laws.
